  • 10:00am Service in the Village Theater - We will officially welcome and commission Matt Minard into his new role as Spiritual Formation Pastor. Everyone is welcome to stay after service for a reception including light refreshments and a chance to greet Matt and Emily. No donuts will be available this week. Coffee and tea will still be provided.
  • Village Youth - Youth Group 6:00-7:30pm @ the Ministry Center

The only people who dislike the concept of evangelism more than non-Christians are Christians themselves! What if there was a way to share our faith that was less abrasive and more invitational? We are starting the fall looking at how we can invite others to “Come And See.”

God is involved in all of our stories, even when we don’t recognize it. We are beginning to collect some of these stories of the people of Village Church. We would love to hear your stories!

Any stories of how God has been working in your life are welcome, but in this season in particular we would love to hear two types:

Prayer: Stories where you have seen God at work in your prayer life - whether it was prayer you saw answered, or ways you were challenged or stretched. Anything prayer related.

Village Groups: Stories of your experience in Village Groups, or other church small groups you have been involved with - spiritual growth, connection with others, care and help for each other. Anything small group related.

The issue is that Jesus is the one who called us to make disciples in the first place. Not only that, but Paul, who authored half of the books of the New Testament, made it his life goal to see Christ formed in the lives of the people he reached. How can we live in obedience to the call of Jesus in our own lives? Let's discover together! Finding Community in Village Groups We encourage everyone who calls Village Church home to be part of a group, because life with Jesus was never meant to be lived alone. Village Groups are where friendships form, God’s Word takes root in us, and we learn what it means to walk with Christ together. In community, we experience the joy of being known and loved, cared for and encouraged—and we’re also challenged to grow as wholehearted followers of Jesus. At Village Church, we have several groups, that meet regularly to share life, study Scripture, and support one another. Our desire is to live out the instructions of Scripture to encourage, support, and exhort one another, building a church family that reflects the heart of Christ.Join a Group
